Lina has started her career in Human Resources around 10 years ago. It all started from coordinating students exchange programs in the US which was her first step into talent acquisition field.

After finishing Masters and moving to Berlin, her path naturally continued into Human Resources. She’s got an amazing opportunity to work in a couple very rapidly growing and changing, and very successful start-up and scale-up companies operating internationally.

Laura’s most recent and longest experience comes from fashion industry, namely working for the H&M Group within various functions – global expansion, global logistics and most recently sustainability. She is currently Project Manager at the Global Sustainability Department, leading climate and nature related projects for the group.

First half of Laura’s career, as well as academic merits, come from the US, where she worked within Aviation/IT industry and graduated from Roosevelt University in Chicago.

But it was during her years in Stockholm that she started developing a strong passion for sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Fashion industry, and the world at large, is facing unprecedented challenges of climate change, resource depletion and ever increasing social inequalities. Laura believes that our strength in facing these challenges lies in collaboration with others, transparency and openness about our mistakes and sharing the lessons learned along the way.
