Agne Kajackaite is a behavioral economist and head of research group "Ethics and Behavioral Economics" at the Berlin Social Science Center. She has received her PhD from the University of Cologne and before joining the Berlin Social Center in 2017 she was a PostDoc at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. In her research she aims to understand unethical behavior, particularly lying behavior, by conducting economic lab experiments. Further topics in her research are cognitive performance, gender, incentives, risk preferences, and ignorance. Her research on the effect of temperature on cognitive performance and gender was covered by The New York Times, BBC, CNN, The Time, The Guardian and The Washington Post, among others. Agne has received Vladas Jurgutis Award in 2018 and Global Lithuanian Award for Promoting the Name of Lithuania Globally in 2019.

Agne - Proud Lithuanian currently living in The Netherlands! I am super passionate about problem solving by using LEAN tools and methodologies, while these days getting more and more excited about driving digital transformations for legacy companies.
My career was always in corporate transformation programs. In the beginning I had the huge pleasure to learn LEAN from world-class gurus at Philips, which helped me later to get a fast and exciting promotion at another company - Maersk. There I had a great opportunity to shape a new department and team to drive business transformation projects within the shipping giant.
Most recently I was faced with a "millennial crisis" when I decided to quit my corporate job at Maersk and pursue volunteering with women in rural Uganda. You can check my stories from Uganda at https://nainyte.com/. I also share more of my thoughts and knowledge on business there too.
Currently I am working for a cool Dutch tech company with a weird name - Schuberg Philis, but with a very cosy and cool culture. I was hired there to build consultancy capabilities in a traditionally known IT company and drive digital transformation programs for our clients.

Aivaras started his carrier 15 years ago in sales and business development area. First knowledge about customers, relationships and negotiations came from being in retail. After that, he spent 9 years in distribution - in between vendors and retailers, introducing big brands (like Asus, Microsoft...), establishing their presence in countries (he was responsible for Scandic's + Baltics). For the last 5 years, Aivaras has been very much involved in startup area - he was sales director in a new Lithuanian brand startup company - Deeper. His responsibility was launching sales and business development from 0, so doing everything - starting from searching partners Worldwide, trade shows, online / offline sales, influencers, marketing, branding etc. He with the team reached 10 mln eur/year turnover after 5 years & exporting over 50 countries. Aivaras was leading about 20 international professionals team, highly motivated people willing to follow example and reach great goals.
Now Aivaras for more than year is co-founder in another hardware Lithuanian startup - millo , where challenges are even bigger as well as potential.
