Director and Co-Owner of the Youth Personal Development Center (November 2023 – present). The organization implements the Youth Voluntary Service program in Šiauliai and Panevėžys counties, Kretinga district, and the city of Klaipėda. Contributes to the development of the Youth Policy Ambassadors system under the Youth Affairs Agency and delivers related training sessions.
Organize the summer training program “Strong in Diversity”, working with young people aged 14–19 from different social groups and linguistic backgrounds (Lithuanian-, Polish-, Russian-speaking families, etc.).
Aidas is doing training course about media literacy, cyber security, information disorders, community building, conflict resolutions, leadership, etc. Also, he advises different municipalities how to implement youth policy in their district.
Moreover, implements the Peer-to-Peer Academy project, preparing young people to conduct inclusive educational activities in their communities. From September to November 2025, 26 young people delivered 26 educational sessions, reaching more than 580 participants.
Together with the Municipality of Klaipėda City, the Municipality of Liepāja (Latvia), and the organization You+ (Latvia), the organization is implementing a digital youth work project. Within the project, a methodology is being developed to define digital youth work, online youth work, how it functions, and related aspects.
Aidas also worked at MB Pozityvūs sprendimai (March 2023 – September 2024), where he was responsible for various educational projects. For example, a hybrid escape room at the Lithuanian Sea Museum’s museum ship M52 “Sūduvis”, the AHA BREAK mobile application created for the AHA brand, and other initiatives.
From March 2021 to September 2021, he completed a 6-month European Solidarity Corps volunteering placement in Jordan.
Institute for Policy Research and Analysis (July 2018 – February 2021). Responsible for implementing the British Council’s Active Citizens program in Lithuania. Delivered training sessions on strengthening the capacities of communities, youth, and youth-serving organizations to empower communities at the local level and engage them in activities.
Order of Malta Relief Service (March 2016 – May 2018). Served as Assistant to the Secretary General and later assumed the role of Head of Young Maltese in Vilnius and Lithuania. In Vilnius, he was responsible for youth development through various volunteering activities (e.g., assisting visually impaired individuals, volunteering at children’s day centers, etc.).
Formal Education
- ISM University of Management and Economics, Master’s degree in Global Leadership and Strategy. Master’s thesis: “What Are the Common Childhood Experiences That Influence Adults to Become Leaders?”
- Vilnius University, Bachelor’s degree in Social Policy. Bachelor’s thesis: “The Analysis of Youth Situation in Lithuanian Municipalities: Social Mobility Challenges.”
Non-Formal Education
- Long-term training of trainers program YOCOMO (October 2023 – April 2024), organized by the Agency of Youth Affairs together with SALTO. The training aimed to strengthen knowledge on how to develop youth workers’ competencies (knowledge, skills, and attitudes).
- Long-term media literacy training organized by TechSoup Europe together with CEPA (November 2018 – January 2019), during which he deepened his knowledge of how to facilitate interactive educational activities.
- Erasmus+ international training course “Facilitation (s)kills” (2018), focused on deepening knowledge of how to organize training sessions and facilitate meetings while considering diverse participants’ needs.
