Gintvile is a cancer biologist specializing in pediatric neuro-oncology and translational pharmacology. She earned her bachelor's degree in Lithuania before moving to Heidelberg University in 2014 to pursue her MSc. Throughout her academic journey, she completed internships in Sweden and Germany, contributed to scientific publications, and, in 2020, defended her doctoral thesis on precision therapy for pediatric brain cancer.

Currently, Gintvile is a postdoctoral scientist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, one of the leading pediatric hospitals in the USA. She works in the laboratory of one of the world's top pediatric CNS cancer biologists. Passionate about mentoring, she aims to guide motivated aspiring bioscientists in making informed career choices in molecular, cellular, or cancer biology and in successfully applying for academic programs and internships in Europe and beyond.
