Neringa holds an MA in Scandinavian Philology (2005) and a BA in Lithuanian and Danish Philology from the University of Vilnius (1996). Since 2005, she has been affiliated with DIS- Study Abroad in Scandinavia, serving as Program Director for Environment, Politics, and Society programs. She manages the department, overseeing 15 full-time employees and more than 30 external faculty members and +80 different courses offered both in Copenhagen Stockholm . Neringa is responsible for the development and management of courses offered to US undergraduate students from top American universities while studying abroad in Denmark, within the Politics, Society, and Environment programs. She leads curriculum development in collaboration with American partner universities and faculty, develops and implements new courses and academic study tours across Denmark and other European destinations, and handles budgeting and financial management. She also oversees the hiring, development, and retention of faculty and administrative staff, teaches courses, and contributes to research projects, publications, and presentations at relevant academic conferences.

Her academic interests include second language acquisition (SLA), cultural studies, food studies, and Arctic studies. Prior professional experience includes serving as an international student advisor at the University of Copenhagen (2004–2005), Lithuanian language instructor at Baltisk Oplysnings Forbund (2002–2006), and employment with DFDS Transport A/S (1997–2004).

Neringa Pangonytė-Novikienė is the founder of NORIU DAUGIAU, a consultation and education platform for creative entrepreneurs in Lithuania, and the director of KURK PARK – a growing festival and conference for creators, makers and solo business owners.

Previously known as the founder of ETSY KLUBAS, Neringa has expanded her activities into a broader ecosystem supporting creative businesses. What started as an Etsy-focused community has evolved into NORIU DAUGIAU – a platform offering consultations, structured training programs and practical guidance for those building independent, idea-driven businesses.

Neringa is a conference lecturer and former host of the radio podcast “Noriu daugiau” on Žinių Radijas, where she and her guests explored motivation, business growth and the real process of turning ideas into action.

With a background in banking and previous ownership of event spaces, she combines strategic thinking with hands-on entrepreneurial experience.
