Her career journey has taken her across continents—from Lithuania, Belgium, and India to a pivotal nine-year tenure in Singapore, where she worked in the private sector. There, she specialized in consumer market reach and advised top-tier global companies on market expansion and product enhancement to meet evolving consumer demands. In addition, she led a B2B marketing team across market intelligence company's five offices in the Asia-Pacific region—Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, Shanghai, Seoul, and Tokyo—driving regional growth strategies and cross-market collaboration.

While working in Singapore, she was also an active and committed member of the Lithuanian diaspora. Understanding the value of community and the power of professional networking, she co-founded the Lithuanian Professionals in Asia Club in 2021, fostering stronger connections among Lithuanian talents across the region and strengthening Lithuania’s global professional footprint.

Now, leveraging almost 15 years of international experience gained overseas in corporate business, in 2024 she returned to her roots to contribute to Lithuania's growth through economic and commercial diplomacy, as she clearly understands and can advise on the pain points faced by companies seeking to expand or innovate. I am Rolandas Rimdeika, a hands-on innovator and product development professional with over 25 years in the automotive and electromobility industry. I specialize in pioneering electromobility aftermarket solutions, electrical safety systems, high-voltage training programs, and sustainable technology development. Passionate about turning complex technical challenges into safe, practical, and market-ready products, I excel at bridging OEM standards with real-world aftermarket needs, designing training and certification programs that are still used across the Volvo Group today, and mentoring startups to commercialize innovative mobility and energy solutions.

My journey began in Lithuania after graduating from Klaipėda 1st Polytechnic School in 1995 with a focus on ferrous technology. I founded my first company specializing in vehicle bodyworks, engine overhauls, AC systems, hydraulics and electrical diagnostics, later advancing to Technical Coordinator at a Renault Cars dealer. In 2005 I relocated to Sweden and spent five years as Technical Coordinator at a Volvo-Renault dealership in Alingsås, deepening my expertise in problem-solving and technician support across both brands.

In 2010 I founded my Swedish company (Bil-Klimat i Alingsås AB, today RCC AB / Rimdeika Consulting and Coaching AB) to develop air-conditioning innovations, thermoelectric solid-state generators, pre-climatization systems and remote-start technologies. As a consultant I have delivered projects for Volvo Cars production lines, Volvo Trucks aftermarket, Volvo Buses Global Service Training and Lynk Co Service Engineering (including China). I designed and delivered Volvo’s electromobility training and certification programs (aligned with Volvo Standards STD 871-0003/0004 and EN 50110-1:2013) and completed advanced courses in systems engineering, project management and startup development from UNSW Sydney, University of London and The Open University.

Since May 2019 I have been at Volvo Penta in Gothenburg — first as Project Manager Electromobility Aftermarket and since November 2024 as Product Manager Electromobility Aftermarket — where I define service-market requirements, set technology project targets and drive customer-centric innovations for electric power solutions in boats, vessels, mining machines and emergency vehicles. Andrius realized his destiny on the first encounter with personal computers at the age 15. Back then there was no internet and only a few Russian made Electronika BK 16k memory computers present in the whole city of Siauliai.
Following his passion Andrius initiated a couple of startups to make modern technologies more available to everyone. He founded the first internet café in the city, later started supplying hardware and software components and ultimately included hosting services. Lots of experience gained while running the business, collaborating with media and sponsors to organize various IT events.
In the meantime he joined a team of IT professionals to build healthcare infrastructure, connecting and integrating data from health providers and pharmacies.
Later he participated in modernizing data collection and processing systems at Lithuanian tax authority, with special focus on building tools for tax fraud detection and prevention.
inspiration for data analysis and solutioning grew and Andrius moved to Vilnius joining iconic software company of that time - "Informacines Technlologijos", the only official partner of Oracle and Microsoft professional certification center.
While at the same time working on his doctoral research at Vilnius University, giving lectures about Unix systems and preparing students for Cisco CCNA certification.
Andrius was always eager to try new industries and didnt waste the opportunity to join an international telecommunication company with an operation base in Prague. After four years he got an invitation to New York to bring his expertise in building healthcare integration with Obamacare infrastructure.
