Hi, I’m Marius Matonis, Engineering Manager at Vinted, where I lead the CI/CD team and work on improving developer experience, platform reliability, and how engineering teams deliver software at scale.

My career journey has moved from hands-on engineering into technical leadership. Before Vinted, I worked as a Senior Tech Lead at Elvia, helping teams grow technically while driving cloud adoption, DevSecOps practices, and modern platform engineering approaches.

Started a career as a junior specialist in an advertising company and later transitioned into cybersecurity. Progressed into a penetration tester role at Baltic Amadeus, specializing in security testing and risk assessment. One of the founders of the BSides Vilnius cybersecurity event and an active contributor to the cybersecurity community. Actively participating in international cybersecurity exercises, including NATO’s Locked Shields as a Threat Hunter and the local Amber Mist exercise as a Red Team member.

Vaiva A. Mazone is an architect, designer, and real estate investor whose work extends beyond shaping spaces to strategically activating them through business development and regeneration projects. With experience in renowned architecture studios, she later built a career as a freelance architect and interior designer, earning awards for outstanding office and residential projects.

Her vision is to breathe new life into abandoned buildings by merging architecture, design, and business strategy. This approach is reflected in Boheme House, a boutique hotel and restaurant in the heart of Kaunas Old Town, as well as in other real estate regeneration projects in Nida, Vilnius, and beyond. Her signature style seamlessly blends historical context with contemporary functionality, while her entrepreneurial mindset transforms architecture into not just an aesthetic statement but also a financially sustainable solution.

Beyond architecture and design, she is actively involved in construction management, real estate investments, and business development, creating concepts for restaurants, curating menus, and shaping event formats. Creativity is her primary tool, which she applies across multiple disciplines, including graphic design, brand identity, and even IT solutions.

Dr. Adas Meskenas has an engineering background with a PhD in Technological Sciences. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous R&D&I projects, showcasing his passion for exploring innovative solutions and creating groundbreaking technologies.

In addition to his research work, Adas has also held a role as Director of Creativity and Innovation Centre "LinkMenu fabrikas" at VILNIUS TECH. During his tenure, he led several viral tech-art and innovation projects that caught the attention of the industry and public alike.

Currently, Adas holds the position of Vice-Rector for strategic partnerships at VILNIUS TECH, where he is responsible for cultivating partnerships with various businesses, education institutions and networks. He is also in charge of the international development of VILNIUS TECH, including development of alliances, study and research mobility. He is committed to expanding VILNIUS TECH reach and reputation through strategic partnerships and effective communication.

Liudvikas Mickevičius is a finance professional who built his career from the ground up, starting as an assistant and working his way to the role of Chief Financial Officer in six years.
His career hasn’t been linear or sheltered. He’s experienced the realities of a large company bankruptcy, worked within the public sector, and navigated periods of rapid organizational change.
After a nine‑year break from studies, he returned to university and completed his Master’s degree at ISM in 2025, proving that persistence beats perfect timing.

Previously wore multiple hats like Technology Architect, In-house Entrepreneur, Product Manager, Solution Architect at Deutsche Bank. Lived in Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, London and after 13 years abroad, recently came back to Vilnius.

As much as I love tech, I’m strictly anti-technology once I close my laptop.
I love outdoor activities like surfing, snowboarding, diving, beach volleyball, and exploring “blue zones” around the world. Big fan of all kinds of communities.

I enjoy good coffee and deep talks. Very bad at chatting via messages - I always prefer meeting for a coffee or a walk.

Why mentoring? I had two amazing mentors who guided me through this program, and now I want to give back by supporting others on their journey. I can share advice on topics such as navigating international moves or returning to Lithuania, making career pivots, exploring pathways into tech, and supporting girls navigating male-dominated environments.

Dr. Birute Miskiniene is Managing Director, lecturer/consultant of Vilnius University Business School. She holds PhD in Social science, Master degree of Astrophysics and Master of Management from ISM University of management and economics and BI Norwegian School of Management in Oslo.
She was working for number of years for one of European Commission programmes Leonardo da Vinci. She was Executive director for Lithuanian Leonardo da Vinci programme from 1997 to 2006 and contact person for CEDEFOP Study visits programme. During this period, She was member of EU Leonardo da Vinci programme Steering committee in Brussels. Since 2006 she was a board member of Lithuanian project management association also member of EU Task Force of International project management association (2010-2015). She was involved in ICT network expert group in Brussels. She was/is a speaker at national and international conferences. Working in the ministry of Education and science during the Lithuanian presidency, she was involved in EU presidency team by organizing events for EU. For the successful presidency She was nominated with special Lithuanian President Award. 2013-2014 She was member of Advisory board of European Qualification Framework in Brussels. From 2016 She is vice-president of Vilnius Chamber of Commerce. During the last 15years She is working in the higher education sector with strong business cooperation/collaboration direction: starting as Executive Director at ISM Executive School, University of Management and Economics (ISM), continuing as deputy director in the department of Higher Education and Technology at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania.

She was also initiator or number of women entrepreneurship projects and events. Working in VU Business School She came up with Entrepreneurial Family conference initiative. Also She was designer of Entrepreneurship and Innovation MBA programme, Family business course.
