Rytis is the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at KN Energies, one of the best-managed state-governed energy infrastructure companies in the Baltics. His fields of responsibility include PR, legal affairs, corporate governance, sustainability (ESG), and general management. Rytis also serves as a Board member at Baltpool, Smiltynes Perkela, BMI Executive Institute, and KN Acu in Brazil. He is also the president of the BMI Alumni Executive Club.
Before joining KN Energies, he worked as an attorney at law, specializing in business dispute resolution. Rytis has lectured on international trade law and international law at Mykolas Romeris University. He has also interned at the European Commission, Cabinet of Commissioner for Customs, Taxation, and Anti-fraud, primarily working on international trade-related aspects, and the Embassy of Lithuania to the United States, acting as an energy policy adviser. Rytis holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and a Master's in International Law from Mykolas Romeris University and Ghent University, an LL.M. from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and an EMBA from BMI Executive Institute. He has also studied at Harvard Law School and Lund University. In 2015, Rytis received the "Lawyer of the Year Award" from the In-house Counsels Associaton (B.I.T.A.). He is also a co-founder of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Vilnius Hub. Rytis is looking to work with an ambitious and motivated student who is keen to pursue a career in the energy field.
