Aivaras started his career 20 years ago in the sales and business development area. His first knowledge about customers, relationships, and negotiations came from being in retail. After that, he spent 9 years in distribution - in between vendors and retailers, introducing big brands (like Asus, and Microsoft...), establishing their presence in 7 countries (he was responsible for Scandic's + Baltics).
For the last 13 years, Aivaras has been very much involved in the startup area - he was a sales director in a new Lithuanian brand startup company - Deeper (www.deepersonar.com). His responsibility was launching sales and business development from 0, so doing everything - starting from searching partners Worldwide, trade shows, online / offline sales, influencers, marketing, branding, etc. He with the team reached a 10 mln euro/year turnover after 5 years; exporting to over 50 countries. Aivaras was leading about 20 international professionals team, highly motivated people willing to follow the example and reach great goals.
Today Aivaras has two separate businesses he is pushing forward:
1) For 6 years he has been co-founder and Chief Sales Officer in another hardware Lithuanian startup - millo smart blender , where the challenge is even bigger, as well as potential. The journey still continues...
2) And from 2024 he is Head of USA Sales and Development in KIKA Group, the biggest pet food and cosmetics producer in this region. Aivaras main responsibility is to grow USA operations and sales, on a big scale in the next few years.
Aivaras motto in life:
1) Do long-term, sustainable business; build business relationships. Don't run for short-term goals.
2) Keep your word. Business = people. Not products, not company name. People.
3) Be fanatic and full of energy about what you do. Be positive!
4) Lead by example. Forget being a manager, be the Leader.
5) Create a team similar to you. Only great TEAMS can do big results. The one-man show is over.
and in general, don't play the finite game. Business is an infinite game in which you only have to grow and move forward.
Aivaras is eager to help people, who want practical knowledge about leadership, people skills, sales, export and business development. Especially the ones, who want to be motivated and very much active in positively impacting others.
